A close up of the beautiful detailed architecture of the Main Street Station in downtown Richmond. It was built in 1901 and then closed down in 1975 when people began to rely less on trains for their transportation. It was reopened in 2003 and is a working train station. The station is a stop for Amtrak trains that take passengers up and down the east coast from Newport News to D.C. to Boston.
